Christos is a Teaching Fellow in Economics at King’s Business School, King’s College London. Prior to that, he was a Teaching Associate in Economics at Queen Mary University of London and a visiting research scholar (Fulbright fellow) at George Mason University, USA. Christos holds a Ph.D. in Economics and an MPhil in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, as well as an MSc in Economics from the University of York. His research interests include strategic fiscal/monetary policy interactions; game theory applications to macroeconomics; the theory of economic policy in a strategic context; monetary economics; economics of European integration.

Christos Ph.D. thesis explored the macroeconomic stabilisation and welfare implications of fiscal/monetary policy interactions in a monetary union at both union and country levels in a strategic context. He is particularly interested in policy conflicts, coordination and institutional design. Parts of his research have been presented in international academic conferences/workshops and published in internationally recognised peer-reviewed academic journals, such as the European Journal of Political Economy and Economic Modelling. He has also acted as a referee for International Journal of Finance and Economics, Southern Economic Journal, Economic Modelling and Scottish Journal of Political Economy.

Christos received a full scholarship from the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation to participate in the 6th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting on Economic Sciences (2017), as well as from the Fulbright Foundation in Greece to conduct research in the US, as part of the Doctoral Dissertation Visiting Research Students Programme (2016-2017).

At King’s, Christos mainly teaches Macroeconomics.
