Academic Division: TOIMClare Gillan Huang is an executive adviser and strategist specializing in research, technology, services, and social/media businesses. Her career achievements include building high-performing teams, launching new businesses, driving innovation, and establishing operational models and strategic partnerships that improve profits. While at IDC, a top global technology analyst firm, she led teams supporting and advising executives in the areas of strategy, marketing, sales, product development, IT planning, and operations. She was also responsible for businesses serving the investment community including venture capitalists. Earlier in her career, Ms. Gillan achieved top global industry analyst status, was a popular keynote speaker at global events, and authored/co-authored over one hundred published papers. Her more recent publications focus on sales, marketing, and the customer experience. She also co-produced popular executive forums in the cloud and mobile space. In addition to her consultative experience, Ms. Gillan brings direct experience related to corporate policy development. Her policy work spans partnerships, sales, social media, corporate communications, insider information handling, and more.
