Bentley University
Cody A. Hyman, PhD, is a visiting professor with the Accounting Department and the Center for Integration of Science and Industry at Bentley University. She earned her PhD in Accounting and Information Assurance from the University of Maryland, researching the role of networks in information acquisition. She received her MA in Economics from The George Washington University and her BA in Economics and Sociology from Clark University. Joining Bentley in July 2021, her current research explores whether investors view financial information regarding the biopharmaceutical industry differently than financial information about firms in other sectors.
