Constantinos Alexiou

Background

Prior to joining Cranfield, Constantinos held both full-time and part-time academics posts at various universities such as Queen Mary College - University of London, London Guildhall University, Open University, City College - Sheffield University, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and University of Ioannina. Apart from the academic post he has been a visiting research associate at the Confederation of Greek Labour where he delivers training programmes for trade union members. Over the last years he has also been acting as consultant for the Doctorate in Professional Studies programme at Middlesex University.

Current activities

Teaches across the full range of the School''s portfolio including the Full-time and Executive MBA, MSc in Finance and Management, MSc in International Human Research Management, General and Customised Management programmes. Supevising PhD/DBA students. Holds visiting teaching and research Professorial appointments at  Aristotle University, Greece. The main focus of his research revolves around Labour Markets, Macroeconomic Policy, Post Keynesian Economics, Determinants of Bank Profitability, Financial Sector Reform in Transition Economies, etc. He is currently the editor of the International Journal of Economics. He is a member of the European economic forum for alternative economic policy in EU.
