The College of Business and Economics at Lehigh University

Corinne Post received her Ph.D. in Organization Management, her master’s degree in International Management, and her bachelor’s degree in Organization Management. Prior to academia, she worked for Accenture, first as IT analyst and then as human resource specialist. Professor Post’s research interests center on gender and racial differences in individual work experiences and career trajectories, as well as on the effects of diversity on innovation and performance, including boards of directors. Her doctoral dissertation received INFORMS’ Best Dissertation Award in 2004.

She is currently program chair for the Careers Division of the Academy of Management. Professor Post’s publications have appeared in such journals as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, and Human Relations. She presented her research at numerous conferences in the United States and internationally and her research has been funded by the NSF. Professor Post received the 2016 Carl R. and Ingeborg Beidleman Research Award (Lehigh U), which highlights quality research and refereed scholarship in business and applied economic disciplines at Lehigh. In 2016, she received the College of Business & Economics Teaching Excellence Award.

Professor Post is past Chair for the Careers Division of the Academy of Management. She is Associate Editor, Journal of Management Studies and on the Editorial Review Boards of Journal of Business Ethics and Career Development International.
