Biography

Craig Schreiber is a professor of management and appointed dean of the Charles M. Snipes School of Business and Economics in 2022. He also serves as co-director of the Broyhill Institute for Leadership, which provides leadership training and experience to students and community outreach activities.

His expertise includes organizational development and change, innovation, leadership, organizational relations to societal and global issues, social networks and systems thinking.

At Carnegie Mellon University, he was a National Science Foundation Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship Fellow specializing in interdisciplinary applied research and received the Pennsylvania State Space Grant Fellowship. In addition, Schreiber conducted research for the Center for Creative Leadership, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, General Motors, Bank of America, Lockheed Martin Corp., Stryker Corp., Booz Allen Hamilton, NASA, Office of Naval Research, U.S. Army Research Laboratory and the National Science Foundation.

He is the Positive Turbulence Fellow at the Center for Creative Leadership and a Salzburg Global Fellow. He published his research in book chapters and in refereed journals such as the Academy of Management Learning and Education, The Leadership Quarterly, Computational and Mathematical Organization Theory and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers: Systems, Man and Cybernetics.
