Dana Scherzi

With years of experience in the business industry and project management leadership, Dana is a skilled teaching professional whose mentorship and training has brought about the success of many clients and mentees. Dana has managed multiple projects for Fortune 500 companies, with budgets from $10k to $10M. She manages in-house and off-shore teams for cohesive development and delivery and trained and mentored beginner to senior managers and employees.

Since 2010, Dana has been focused on managing Agile projects and implementing Agile techniques into Waterfall Projects. She believes that each project and company requires the right mix of practices from Agile and Waterfall processes to be successful. As a Project Manager, she successfully implemented Daily Stand-ups, Task Boards, Retrospectives, and supported Self-Organizing teams for Waterfall projects. As a Certified Scrum Master, Dana has successfully implemented the standard tools and techniques and principles of the Agile Manifesto. She has also worked with teams to implement Kanban for short-duration work not suited for Scrum-based planning.

As a trainer, Dana integrates students’ real-world experience with the theories of Agile, and includes current events that ensure the attendees are able to take back at least one actionable item to improve his/her skills.
