Abstract: Feedback on students’ work is an important aspect of the educational process, but providing good feedback can be difficult, time consuming, and all too often is ignored. In an effort to improve students’ uptake of the feedback and reduce the amount of time necessary to produce high-quality feedback educators can harness digital audio commentary tools available in many learning platforms. This project explores how one professor has incorporated digital audio technology to provide spoken comments to students about their work in conjunction with digital marking of their submitted work.
