Biography
HEC Paris
Daniel Newark received his BA, MA in Economics, and PhD in Organization Studies from Stanford University. His research focuses on decision making, identity, prosocial behavior, and social influence and persuasion, and has appeared in leading management and psychology journals, such as Academy of Management Review, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Social Psychological and Personality Science. His work has also been covered by a variety of media outlets, including Harvard Business Review, Stanford Business Magazine, PBS Newshour, The Christian Science Monitor, and Salon.com.
Prior to joining HEC, Daniel Newark was an assistant professor at the Strategic Organization Design unit at the University of Southern Denmark and a member of the Danish Institute for Advanced Study (DIAS). He has taught Masters, MBA, and PhD courses in behavioral decision making, organizational behavior, social psychology in organizations, strategy, and organizational theory.
