Professor Emeritus

Dr. Anderson is an Emeritus Professor, Smith School of Business, Queen’s University (Canada) and Adjunct Professor, Waikato Management School, Hamilton, New Zealand.  Prior to his retirement from Queen’s University in 2003, Dr. Anderson held a number of senior administrative appointments at Queen’s: Vice-Principal (Finance and Operations) (2000-2003); Dean, School of Business (1988-1995); and Executive Director, Centre for Resource Studies (1984-1988).  From 1972-1984, he held various academic position in the Faculty of Administration, University of Regina, ending his stay as a Full Professor.  He has also held visiting academic and research positions at institutions in Australia, Kenya, Malaysia, New Zealand and the USA.  Dr. Anderson is the author of over forty refereed journal articles, monographs and book chapters in the area of resource economics, taxation, trade policy, health economics and the economics of higher education (his current research focus).
