Biography
The Wharton School
David Bard is a Partner and joined Halifax in 2018. He is responsible for assisting in sourcing, evaluation, execution and monitoring investments.
Before joining Halifax, David was a Principal at American Securities, a New York based private equity firm, where he invested across sectors and served as a Director for several companies. Prior to that, David was with Bain Capital for nearly nine years and worked with the firm in several geographies. David began his career with McKinsey & Company.
David currently holds an MBA from the Wharton School, where he was the Ford Fellow, and an MPhil in Economics with Development from the University of Cambridge, where he was a Gates Scholar. In addition, he completed the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a BS in Economics from The Wharton School and a BAS from Penn Engineering, where he graduated summa cum laude.
David is currently a Senior Fellow at The Wharton School where he teaches in the full-time and Executive MBA programs. David resides in Washington, DC with his wife and two sons.
