Biography

Dr. David Branon is a Senior Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Talent Management at Hotelschool The Hague. His focus is on sustainably managing the human eco-system of organizations and workers within a sector and or geographic location. To this end, he examines meso conditions such as industry employer branding, macro conditions such as organizational interactions with competitors within their environments and micro conditions such as inclusive talent management.

He gained his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Leadership & Organizational Behavior, Henley Business School, University of Reading, with research on the team identity in power asymmetrical service teams supervised by Prf Chris Brewster. Previously, he worked as a researcher at IES, an independent research and evidence based consultancy previously affiliated with Sussex Univerity on human resources and employment commonly advising on British government policy and Ministry of Defense. At the Henley Business School, University of Reading, he led the Huck research center mapping the on line profiles of the FTSE500 & SP500 according to organizational culture map. He initially began his career working for Hyatt and Fairmont in Dubai as a Cost Controller facilitating numerous IT project migrations and implemented Sarbanes and Oxley audit practices. He did his M.Sc. at Henley Business School, University of Reading in International Management and Strategic Consulting examining the implementation of mono-cultural HR practices in cross cultural hospitality teams based in Dubai.

Research Interests

Dr. Brannon's main interests are industry-, inclusive- and sustainable talent management. He prefers using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
