David Dimond

Academic Division: TOIMDave is the Chief Technology Officer and a Distinguished Engineer with Dell EMC’s Global Healthcare Business which focuses on delivery of cloud-based platforms for healthcare and life sciences and big data solutions for vertical markets. Dave joined Dell EMC to start-up their Health Sciences Consulting business where he developed national accounts, drove channel strategy, developed methodology and acquired talent. Before joining Dell EMC, Dave was a strategic adviser to several healthcare ISVs and startups. Prior to this, Dave was the Senior Vice President of Product Innovation at TSC where he drove new business and product development. While at TSC, he also founded new lines of business including their Healthcare Solutions Group along with several new product offerings. Overall, Dave has 15 years of Management Consulting experience and was a Vice President, Technical Master and National Practice Leader at the leading Healthcare and Life Sciences firm First Consulting Group. Dave has written numerous articles, technical papers, book chapters, and has taught a number of technology courses over his extensive career. Dave is also the Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Healthcare Delivery Institute at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
