Biography
I study the economics of innovation and new technologies. I apply and extend theory to empirical problems related to energy and the environment. I am currently working on technology spillovers and crowding out (shale gas patent data), learning curves in low- and middle-income countries (clean tech), and social equity issues in technology diffusion (solar PV installations under FiTs in the UK).
