Schulich Executive Learning Centre

Senior Vice President Information Technology, Loblaw Companies Limited David, who started at Loblaw in 2007, has lead the company’s IT transformation since 2018, establishing and realizing its mission to be the best retail technology organization in Canada. This has been achieved by delivering high-value, business-strategy enabling solutions to its customers through a team of skilled and motivated professionals.

David holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Toronto, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and is a member of both the Professional Engineers of Ontario and Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. David is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, where he teaches IT Strategy in both the BCom undergraduate and MBA graduate programs.

David is a member of the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Student Achievement and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. In his spare time, David enjoys hanging out with his five kids, running, reading and travelling.
