Biography
David Meir Sasson is the Chief Operating and Financial Officer of Bonobos. In this capacity, he is responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of design, quality, fit, and costumer experience is maintained from inception to final delivery. David is also responsible for financial accountability and accurate representation of the company performance.
Prior to Bonobos, David worked primarily in the luxury / fashion space serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Derek Lam International, the Corporate Vice President of Financial Strategies at Kenneth Cole Production, and Vice President of Finance and Business Development at Elie Tahari. David started his career in his native Italy as a consultant. Having worked in both Europe and US and mastering three languages, David has a strong understanding of complex international dynamics.
David graduated summa cum laude in Economics from LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome, and was awarded the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor when he received his MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business. Currently, he writes a business of fashion column for the Italian newspaper, La Stampa. He is also an Adjunct Professor at NYU Stern School of Business – Luxury and Fashion MBA Program. He currently resides in Manhattan with his wife.
