Biography

Debmallya Chatterjee is a Professor and Department Chairperson of Operations Supply Chain Management and Quantitative Methods (OSCQM). He is also the Programme Chairperson of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Online and the Co-director of Student Affairs at SPJIMR. In his professional career spanning 19 years, he has taught at leading graduate management institutes across India.

He holds a Ph.D. from IIT ISM (Dhanbad), with his doctoral research centred on Multi-Criteria Decision Making and Advanced Certifications in Analytics from the University of Pennsylvania. He has completed a Certification in Teaching Pedagogy from Harvard Business School.

His research efforts are anchored on areas such as Multi-criteria Decision Making, Structural Modelling, Decision Science, and Fuzzy Cognitive Map Applications. He is a passionate research scholar with a prolific publication record in leading journals and publications such as Taylor & Francis, Emerald, Inderscience, Sage Publications, and Ivey Publications.
