Deepak Gupta

Deepak is a Managing Partner at Blue Bear Ventures. He also advises entrepreneurs at the UC Berkeley Haas Business school and mentors various accelerators in Silicon Valley. He has fourteen years of venture investing experience across three institutional funds. Prior to investing, he was part of 4 medical startups as either an entrepreneur or in management roles, having two exits with Cepheid (NASDAQ: CHPD), a molecular diagnostic company, and Neuropace (NASDAQ: NPCE), a medical device company.

He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
