DePaul University
Denise Nacu is an Associate Professor and School Director of the College of Computing and Digital Media School of Design. As a designer and researcher at the intersection of technology, learning, and design, she co-directs the Technology for Social Good Research and Design Lab and works with the Digital Youth Network. Her current research focuses on the design, development, and evaluation of sociotechnical systems for learning, particularly those intended to encourage youth participation in STEM activities.
She received a Ph.D. in Education (Learning Technologies) from the University of Michigan in 2004 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, with a minor in Psychology, from Columbia University in 1995.
