Biography
Center for Creative Leadership
Don has been a full-time employee of CCL for 20 years, in a number of roles. He has spent 12 of those years in international assignments.
Don is Director of Faculty for CCL EMEA. In this role, he is responsible for managing over 50 CCL faculty trainers, as well as doing program design and conducting leadership programs for CCL clients globally.
Don served as General Director of CCL in Russia since 2009 until March 2014. In this capacity, he was responsible for developing all aspects of the company and establishing CCL as a leading executive education provider in Russia and CIS. As a senior faculty member of CCL, he designed and delivered CCL leadership training to senior managers and executives in Russia. He also conducted assessment coaching sessions with senior executives in a number of companies in Russia and Western Europe
Don has served as program manager and as a CCL faculty facilitator in hundreds of leadership development courses for mid- to upper-level managers in over 25 countries, including Open Enrollment and customized in-house programs. For example, during 5 years in Brussels, he trained in numerous programs averaging 10-12 different nationalities in each program. He is a faculty member for CCL’s global program for C-Level executives, Leadership at the Peak.
For three years, Don was Director, Networks & Affiliates, managing a number of CCL alliances and partnerships. He has helped establish CCL alliances in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Previously Don has served as faculty member and program manager in CCL’s Assessment Services group, delivering assessment and leadership training globally.
Don graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Sociology, as well as obtaining a Master degree in Theological Studies. He is certified in all CCL assessments, as well as MBTI, FIRO-B, Workplace Big Five, and other instruments.
In additional to numerous articles, Don is the co-author of two CCL guidebooks, Communicating Across Cultures and Developing Cultural Adaptability.
