Dov Dvir

Prof. Dov Dvir served as Chair of the Department of Management, Chair of the Research Students Committee, and Academic Director of the HMBA (Honors MBA) in the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He headed the Management of Technology (MOT) Department at the Holon Institute of Technology. Prof. Dvir holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, M.Sc. in Operations Research, MBA from Tel Aviv University; and Ph.D. in Management from Tel Aviv University. Prof. Dvir has accumulated over 25 years in management of large-scale projects and consulting in the government and private sectors. He has published more than 100 papers in the areas of project management, technology management and technological entrepreneurship in refereed journals and scientific conferences. He authored (together with Aaron Shenhar) the book Reinventing Project Management: The Diamond Approach to Successful Growth and Innovation, published by Harvard Business School Press in 2007.
