Biography

Short Biography

Dr. A. Haklidir received her undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture (2009) from Cukurova University and her master’s degree in Design (2012) from Kadir Has University. She was awarded the Fulbright scholarship and has received her doctorate degree from the College of Design, NC State University with a focus on Architectural Design for Learning Environments (2016). In addition to her research and teaching experiences at NC State, has also worked as an Economic Development Analyst at the University of North Carolina, Kenan Institute through leading a funded project on innovation zones. Her research interest involves built environment-human behavior relations and educational settings (K-12 school environments).
