I am a passionate social entrepreneur and creator of visions, projects and products. I love to work in co-production with the people, communities and clients. As a thought leader, I strive to inspire and empower anyone, anytime, anywhere. I am a Political Scientist. My focus is on sustainable economics, monetary design, social responsibility, changing behaviour, and policy strategy.

I am the Founder of Qoin, as well as a blockchain advisor and keynote speaker. I have been working as a community currency architect since 1993, supporting authorities, organizations and companies in creating sustainable, inclusive and prosperous cities. I advise blockchain projects with the crypto-economy and tokenomy, serious gaming and impact strategy. I regularly present at conferences, workshops and symposia around the world.

I am at a turning point in my life. My mission for the coming years is starting a currency in the city of Lisbon together with the municipality, local institutions, companies and organizations, as part of a local team that makes the difference.
