SDA Bocconi School of Management
Eduoardo Missoni is currently professor at the Bocconi University and at the SDA-Bocconi School of management, and a research fellow at the Center for Research on Health and Social care Management (CERGAS).
His teachings and research include Global Health, Development-related Policy-making and Management of International Institutions and Non Governmental Organizations. He also holds teaching duties at the Faculty of Sociology of the Bicocca University in Milan, at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Pavia, the Geneva School of Diplomacy, and the Mexican National Public Health Institute (INSP) in Cuernavaca, México.
Previously, from 1987 to 2002, he was an Advisor to the Directorate General for Development Cooperation in the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in charge of health and social development programmes in the Americas, and Sub-Saharan African countries. He acted as the liaison officer with WHO and PAHO, represented Italy individually at international meetings and expert groups. Earlier on, he was a UNICEF officer in Mexico and a medical volunteer in Nicaragua.
Between 2004 and 2007, he was the Secretary General of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (the world’s largest youth organization).
