Biography
Ed Kabialis was an audit partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for more than 20 years. He specialized in providing service to significant international consumer products and pharmaceutical companies.
His two-year tenure at the Accounting and SEC Directorate of the National Office included monitoring the activities of the FASB as well as the SEC and providing guidance and consultation to the PwC audit practice throughout the United States. While in the Directorate he also co-authored books on leveraged buyouts and income tax accounting.
He led the Chicago Office and Midwest Region's Consumer & Industrial Products audit practice; creating a strategic vision and proactively working with audit committees, CEO's and other senior executives.
Ed has extensive mergers and acquisition experience having participated in many phases of more than 25 business acquisitions. He also has been an integral advisor on two multibillion-dollar mergers. His experience includes coordinating consulting projects in activity based costing, finance department restructuring, process re-engineering, streamlining financial closing and post-acquisition integration of merged companies.
