Biography
Fordham University
I am a global capital market professional with over 30 years of experience at Morgan Stanley and UBS. I earned a Chartered Financial Analyst designation (not an active member of CFA Institute), a holder of the Certificate in Quantitative Finance designation, and a Certified Public Accountant. I have also earned the Firm Risk Manager (FRM) title. I have worked as a rates trader, hedge fund salesperson, and chief operating officer capacity for Morgan Stanley’s Global Interest Rate Products Group. I am the Founding Partner and CEO of Chelsea Global Advisors, LLC (CGA), a Family and Friends Office. The Firm offers strategic advisory, consulting, and market research services. CGA specializes in using empirical analysis and behavioral disciplines to solve complex problems facing investors, capital market participants, finance and accounting professionals. CGA offers investment solutions for a small number of select individuals. CGA’s primary focus is on top-down asset allocation to gain efficient market exposure to Beta, Alpha, income, and tail insurance for our clients. Before returning to New York, I spent most of my career outside the United States, including long assignments in London, Paris, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. I have recently gained extensive experience working in the Middle East, providing consulting and training services. I also market commentary for several market research-related newsletters. My primary areas of interest are G3 fixed income and equity trading, investment strategies, capital structure optimization, and operating leverage efficiency. I received my undergraduate degree from Pace University, an MBA from the State University of New York, and have completed advanced coursework at Fordham University and the University College of London.
