Dr. Tomlinson’s primary research interests include interpersonal trust, conflict and negotiation, and deviant workplace behavior. He has published in several top-tier management journals, including Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Education, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, and Group & Organization Management. He also co-edited (with Ron Burke and Cary Cooper) Crime and corruption in organizations: Why it occurs and what to do about it (published by Gower, 2011).

Dr. Tomlinson also sits on the editorial boards of Group & Organization Management, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, and Journal of Trust Research.

Dr. Tomlinson teaches compensation and benefits at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and conflict management. He also teaches a management Ph.D. seminar in groups and social processes.
