Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO

Egor Krivosheya is Assistant Professor and Head of Research at the SKOLKOVO-NES Centre for Research in Financial Technologies and Digital Economy. On the academic side, his research focuses on an integrated view on sustainable competitive advantage and organisational strategy, incorporating diverse value creation sources and value capture mechanisms. On the practice-oriented side, his research aims to understand the latest phenomena, their impact, and applications in the fields of retail finance, digital economy, and consumer-oriented businesses, to promote their efficient development and application.

Egor’s research has been published in top academic journals including Technological Forecasting and Social Change, the Journal of Business Research and the Journal of Promotion Management. His findings and insights on the digital economy and retail payments are frequently cited in national business media such as RBC, Vedomosti, Kommersant, and Izvestia.

Egor has also served as a reviewer for top academic management journals and conferences such as the Journal of Business Research, the Journal of Banking and Finance, the annual meeting of the Academy of Management, and the Academy of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Knowledge. He has published more than 30 practice-oriented papers and consulting reports within his activities in the Centre, which have been used by organisations and government officials in the digital economy and retail payments within the region.
