Eid Mohamed (PhD in American Studies from George Washington University) is an assistant professor of Arab-US Cultural Politics at Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and the University of Guelph, Canada. Mohamed’s work is located at the crossroads of several areas of inquiry in American and Arab and Arab Diaspora studies, including media and cultural studies, and Arab contemporary public spheres at the interplay of politics, religion, and culture.
