Ekaterina Kozinchenko (Екатерина Козинченко) is a Russian businesswoman, the Managing Partner of ATKearney Russia and the founder of Woman ID, an educational online platform to empower women in the workplace and society. Ekaterina has published many studies on leadership and the opportunities and challenges of managing large capital projects as well as operational excellence, governance and resource management in the oil and gas industry in Russia, the CIS region and internationally.[1] She has also authored articles in Russia’s top business and industry publications and is a regular speaker at major economic and industry-specific conferences. Most recently she spoke at The World Economic Forum in Davos[2] and St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Early Life and Education
Studying at a drama school at a young age, Ekaterina considered becoming an actress. However, having weighed up her opportunities, she pragmatically decided to pursue studies of Finance and Economics at the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation. After building an interest in and working within the Oil & Gas industry, Ekaterina chose to expand her opportunities and completed the Oil & Gas Industry Programme at the University of Oxford, in the United Kingdom.[3]
Career History
Accenture
In 1995, Ekaterina started her career at Accenture, a multinational professional services company that provides services in strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations. Here she rapidly took on the role of a Business Consultant in the Siberian Oil & Gas arm of the company. She was promoted to Partner in 2007 and left the company in 2009 after spending thirteen years in the firm.
Booz & Company
After Accenture, Ekaterina elected to join Booz & Company as a Partner and following the company’s acquisition by PwC and its rebranding to Strategy&, she was promoted to be the Managing Partner of Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.[4]
AT Kearney Russia
Since 2016 Ekaterina Kozinchenko has been the Managing Partner of the Russian office of the global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney, and the Head of the firm’s Energy & Process Industries Practice in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. With extensive expertise in corporate transformation and operational efficiency, she has led the implementation of several strategic mergers along with transformation and strategy development projects in the Oil and Gas, and Utilities industries.[5]
WomanID
In 2019 Ekaterina established Woman ID which is an online educational platform and transformational course for women. It has received significant support from ATKearney Russia. The course and it’s dedicated website, coaching and support programmes are aimed at the development of skills and competencies necessary for dynamic growth in woman’s professional career. While Woman ID originated in Russia, it is also currently expanding into the UK and international markets.
