Biography

Eksa is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) from Canada. After working as a professional accountant for several years at a big accounting firm, she has followed her passion for teaching and research and transitioned to an academic career. Her research looks at how institutional, social, political contexts shape individual responses to accounting systems and processes and in turn, how individuals shape accounting systems and processes in organizations. Her work has been published in accounting journals such as Accounting Organizations and Society, Critical Perspectives in Accounting and in Accounting, Auditing and Accountabiity Journal.
