Background

Elisabeth graduated in sociology at the University of Vienna, before she obtained her PhD in industrial engineering at the TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology), with focus on organisation studies. Her research addresses gender, diversity and intersectionality in organisations within the area of science, technology, engineering and math. She is, moreover, examining aspects of organisational culture that enable learning and innovative practices.

Current activities

Elisabeth currently works as a Research Fellow on ways to measure gender diversity on research performance within the GEDII-project. Apart from that she examines inequality within academia and higher education.
