Emily Tarr is an Assistant Professor of Management in the College of Business Administration at California State University San Marcos. Dr. Tarr is especially passionate about teaching both Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. Her research examines how power affects individual’s motivations and behaviors, how individuals can influence one another—especially influence others’ emotions, and when and how individuals experience multi-layer identification with different targets in organizations. Prior to joining CSUSM, Dr. Tarr received her Ph.D. at The Ohio State University (Fisher College of Business) in Organizational Behavior, and received her B.A. at University of Michigan in Psychology and Spanish.
