Eric Kelley is as an Associate Professor of Finance as well as the Goodner Professor of Banking and Home Federal Bank Scholar. He earned a PhD in Finance from Texas A&M University, a MS in Finance from Texas Tech University, and a BBA with a double major in Computer Information Systems and Finance from West Texas A&M University. Prior to joining the Haslam College of Business in 2014, Eric spent eight years on the Eller College of Management faculty at the University of Arizona and one year on the faculty at Washington State University.

Eric’s research focuses on issues in empirical asset pricing and market microstructure, with particular emphasis on how information is incorporated into prices. His research has been published in the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Finance and Quantitative Analysis, and the Review of Financial Studies and presented at top Finance conferences such as the American Finance Association and Western Finance Association annual meetings. Eric has taught a variety of courses at all levels. He currently advises a number of PhD students on their dissertations and teaches undergraduate Investments and Portfolio Management and MBA Financial Management.
