The Wharton School

Eric Max, Esq. is a Senior Lecturer at Wharton where he teaches negotiation to MBA students. Eric also works with the Wharton Executive Education Program where he teaches negotiation to hundreds of business executives from around the world. Groups trained include: Facebook, IBM, Business Executives from Mexico, Real Estate Executives from China and Nurse Managers from the US. Eric also provides negotiation training to doctors, nurses and staff at the UPenn Medical School.

Eric has served as a court-appointed mediator for over 30 years and has mediated hundreds of cases involving claims in excess of $1 billion. Eric received a national award for his mediation of complex public disputes. In addition, Eric has trained hundreds of judges, lawyers and state managers in negotiation and mediation. Eric received a Specialization in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution from the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation and a law degree from Boston University School of Law.
