Erin K. Steinberger graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in Economics with an emphasis in accounting. During her junior year at UCSB she interned at Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Los Angeles, CA. She was offered a full time position upon graduation and spent the next two years doing financial statement audits for clients including Disney, ABC, Southern California Edison, and iRise.
She left PwC in 2007 to work for a video game start-up. In 2009, Erin started her own consulting practice for small to medium size businesses. She helped start-ups and established businesses with their accounting and financial reporting requirements as well as helped to setup processes and procedures based on the best practices that she learned during her time at PwC. In 2013, Erin went back to school to get her MBA from the University of Southern California.
Her focus was on marketing and entrepreneurial finance. After graduating Erin spent a little over a year in San Francisco working on the Milk-Bone product launch team and Meow Mix innovation/new product development team. Erin returned to LA to work for Nestle USA on the Coffee-mate team. She left Nestle to start E.K.S. CPA so she could focus on her passion for helping people and businesses with their accounting and tax needs. Her focus is on helping start-ups and small businesses with strategy, financial reporting and analysis. In her spare time, Erin teaches Corporate Finance and Managerial Accounting at Santa Monica City College.
