Bio
Evan Epstein is the Founder and Managing Partner of Pacifica Global, a corporate governance advisory firm based in San Francisco, CA. He has been retained as an expert in governance litigation both in the U.S. and Latin America. Some of his cases have involved a major U.S. tech company shareholder dispute, venture-backed company governance litigation and a major NYSE-listed lithium company dispute, including a $4.1 billion minority stake acquisition. Before founding Pacifica Global, he was the Executive Director of the Rock Center for Corporate Governance, a joint initiative between Stanford Law School and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has also served as a Professor at the Law Faculty of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile since 2011, where he teaches a class on global corporate governance and business strategy. Mr. Epstein conducts board training sessions and is a frequent speaker on governance topics. He holds a JD (equivalent) from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Corporate Governance and Practice from Stanford Law School. In addition, he was part of the exchange program “Cycle du Diplôme” at Sciences-Po in Paris, France. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the Chilean Bar.
