Biography

Fabienne Fel is an associate professor in the Information and Operations Management Department of ESCP Europe Paris campus. She is a graduate of HEC. She holds a doctorate (doctoral thesis: aspects of new product development). She began her career with a French automobile manufacturer, occupying the postition of Logistics and Planning Manager for five years.

She has been a member of the ESCP Europe faculty since 1992. Her teaching assignments cover the range from Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management and New Product Development.

 

She is the Scientitfic Director of the "Factory of the Future" Chair, sponsored by Michelin's corporate foundation and Safran.

Professor Fel’s research interest is currently in the field of Reshoring from China. She has published widely and spoken at international conferences on this topic (EURopean Operations Management Association, ATLAS/ AFMI)

She is also a member of the B20 French Task force "Global Coalition for Efficient Logistics".
