Biography

UCL School of Management

Felix is an Assistant Professor in the Organisations and Innovation Group at University College London School of Management. He received his Ph.D. from UCLA in 2018 where he taught and conducted research in the Psychology Department and Anderson School of Management.

Research

As demographic diversity grows and organizations struggle to make good on their promises of increased equity and inclusion, Felix’ research addresses the challenging question of how we work with those who would seek to undermine this social change. His work explores the unique identity concerns that members of dominant groups experience in the face of growing diversity, and the strategies they employ to preserve dominance. In addition, he works on developing novel and empirically-based interventions to improve intergroup attitudes within organizations.

Felix’ research has been published in Organization Science, the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, and the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, among others. His work has been awarded the Dorothy Harlow Best Paper Award from the Academy of Management Gender and Diversity in Organizations Division and has received press in outlets such as Harvard Business Review, New York Magazine, Democracy Journal, and Jezebel.
