Biography
Dr Feranita is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Law, Taylor’s University, Malaysia. She is the founding leader of Family Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Centre at Taylor’s University, where she provides consulting, coaching and training for business families and entrepreneurs. Dr Feranita also serves as Senior Advisor for Asian Legacies, an advisory firm based in Indonesia that guides business families in ensuring business and legacy continuity. With a rich global exposure spanning seven countries, Dr Feranita brings a wealth of experience, agility, and cultural intelligence to the team. Adept at working in an ambiguous environment and diverse teams, her mastery in English, Mandarin and Indonesian ensures smooth communication in various contexts. Dr Feranita adopts an innovative, structured, and analytical approach to solving today's business problems, based on insights derived from her academic research background. Dr Feranita holds a PhD in Management (UK) with a research interest in family business, entrepreneurship, innovation, and university-industry collaborations. Coming from a family business background herself, she feels strongly for the struggles and challenges faced by business families. She is also a certified professional coach who coaches business families and entrepreneurial startups.
