Filippos Papakonstantinou

Filippos Papakonstantinou is a Lecturer in Finance at King's Business School. His research focuses on behavioural economics and finance, household finance, corporate finance, asset management, Bayesian econometrics and applied microeconomics. His papers have been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Finance, the Review of Financial Studies and Management Science.

Filippos was previously Assistant Professor in Finance at the Imperial College Business School. He has also taught at Harvard University, Princeton University, the University of Geneva and Queen Mary University of London. He received the Award for Excellence in Teaching at Imperial College Business School in 2011 and 2012.

Filippos grew up in Greece and then moved to the United States to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees. He was awarded his BA in Economics by Harvard University in 2002, then his MA and PhD in Economics by Princeton University in 2004 and 2008 respectively.
