Firas Batnini

Associate professor of Finance at the ESSCA School of Management, he holds a PhD in Management Sciences (2009, University of Cergy-Pontoise). He is responsible for the Master of Banking and Financial Engineering, which offers three options to students: Financial market, Merger and Acquisition and Fintech.

Author of numerous books for finance or mathematics, he has published a finance book covering the DSCG 2 programme at Vuibert, as well as a book on financial mathematics at Dunod and recently a book on the preparation of the GMAT with Nathan. He has also published research articles on venture capital and initial public offerings.

He teaches mainly in master’s degree, business valuation, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital. All his courses are evaluated by real projects that the students will have to defend before a jury of professionals. He is also a member of the AFFI.

His current research focuses mainly on venture capital financing, mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings.
