ESCP Europe Business School
François Fourcade has a Doctorate in Management Science from the Ecole Polytechnique (Paris).
After 15 years of international experience with a worldwide top ten automotive supplier, François Fourcade got his Doctorate in September 2004. He then became Assistant Professor at ESCP Europe, based on the Paris Campus.
Professor Fourcade coordinates several courses in the Master in Management programme: The Management Control course (Master’s Level) and the Business Planning elective course. He has been co-director of the Specialized Master in International Project Management since 2005.
The objective of this Master is to prepare participants to boost their careers in international business development and project management. This is a double degree awarded by ESCP Europe and the Polytechnic University of Madrid. It covers management, financial, economic and strategic issues, with an emphasis on the development of negotiation skills. Furthermore, students also go on a one-week study trip in Brussels, where they visit the European Commission institutions and work on case studies with one of our partner universities.
He is also director of a custom executive program for a large Aerospace Industrial group.
Last but not least, François Fourcade is interested in educational science issues. He provides support to a group of ESCP Europe professors who are constantly striving to improve their teaching “performance”.
Based on his long experience of Mountain climbing, François Fourcade is working on the integration of a higher content of outdoor experiential learning activities in ESCP Europe programmes.
