Biography

Gabriela is the President and founder of Foundation Transformation Paraguay which partners with the John Maxwell Leadership Foundation. Both organisations have the goal to train 10% of the people of Paraguay (700 thousand people) in leadership values and principles. The name of the initiative is called ¨Transformation begins with me¨ which comes from the idea that if I can transform myself and strengthen my values then my business, community, city and country can be transformed. This year alone more than 70,000 people have gone through the sixteen week round table process which focuses on learning and applying values such as attitude, responsibility, communication, commitment, amongst others. There are currently more than 1000 organisations and institutions in Paraguay that are going through the round table process at no cost to them, including many government entities such as the health ministry, the police and the education ministry. In 2017 a curriculum will be implemented specifically for high school students. Gabriela is also a coach and speaker founding one the most important coaching and training companies in the country known as ¨Paraguay Leadership Team¨ which coaches and develops leaders from different sectors of Paraguay. Clients include some of the largest banks, businesses and manufactures of Paraguay as well as multinationals like Coca Cola, Mapfre and Herbalife. Before Gabriela worked as a marketing and communication manager at one of the most distinguished universities in Paraguay and has studied marketing, business and leadership at Duke, Thunderbird, Lee University and the Universidad Americana.
