Gary Fildes

Gary joined the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) an IT security lead in November 2015. Working within ONR’s Cybersecurity and Information Assurance team, he has the responsibility for regulating cybersecurity at 37 nuclear licensed sites in the United Kingdom.

Gary Fildes is a Principal Cyber Security Inspector for the ONR who are responsible for regulating safety and security in civil nuclear licensed sites across the UK. Gary has 20+ years industry experience which has spread across education, commercial and government sectors. He has held various roles in commercial and government environments, ranging from infrastructure design and information security though his passion lies in delivering technical training and mentorship to new entrants into InfoSec via the CompTIA Cyber Ready Programme.
