University of California, Davis
Gary Schefsky is founder and General Partner of New Luna Ventures where he brings over twenty five years of C-level entrepreneurial startup and go-to-market experience. New Luna Ventures invests in innovative companies with solid business execution and a focus on impactful environmental, human resource and community policies. He created and launched Sustain360, a proprietary methodology for assessment and screening of sustainable investments. Schefsky holds a B.A. from University California at Davis and a J.D. and LL.M. in Transnational Business Practice from the University of the Pacific. He has judged graduate level business plan competitions, including the Big Bang!, UC Davis and served as an Adjunct Professor to an international MBA program. He gives back through his stewardship of cultural institutions, including current and past Board of Trustee roles on the SFMOMA Photography Accessions Committee, the San Francisco Botanical Gardens, and the A+D Architecture and Design Museum, Los Angeles.
