Biography
Charlotte Gaston-Breton, Ph.D in Marketing at the University Paris Dauphine is currently Associate Professor and Academic Director of the MSc in Marketing & Digital Media at ESCP Europe, Madrid campus. She is also the Scientific Director of the ESCP Europe Granted Research Center in Happiness & Management.
Previously, she worked as a Visiting Professor at the University Carlos III of Madrid and as an Associate Professor at the University Paris Ouest Nanterre. She has been invited by prestigious research centers such as the Stern Business School (New York University) and the Haas Business School of Berkeley (California).
Her research areas deal with consumer decision process (cognitive biases), price perception (psychological prices), cultural and social groups (cultural values, consumer communities). She published books, articles in international journals (e.g., European Journal of Marketing, International Marketing Review, Marketing Letters) national journals (e.g., Recherche et Applications en Marketing, Décisions Marketing) and conferences.
Her teaching and consultancy activities are related to consumer behavior and marketing research for consumer goods (L’OREAL, Carrefour), advertising agencies (BDDP Conseil), and marketing research industries (GFK, Symphony).
