While theory is the foundation, application is key.

During my 30+ year career, I worked at agency side as account director and strategic planner (Saatchi & Saatchi, BBDO) and inhouse in operational marketing management (marketing manager Hertex, Kreon; European marketing manager Eurinpro, European marketing manager Goodman; and vice president marketing IIG).

In 2004 I started my own marketing consultancy, 4Growth, focusing on growth and innovation strategies. In the last 13 years I’ve put theory to practice over and over again developing effective growth and innovation strategies for more than 170 clients –small to large, national to international companies, across a broad range of vertical markets.

A strong theoretical insight is indispensable for developing effective growth and innovation strategies. That is why I also teach all the elements of growth strategy - including business strategy, innovation strategy, business model innovation, CRM strategy, marketing strategy, product strategy, brand strategy and communications strategy, KPI's and dashboards. Teaching assignments include various programs at leading learning company Kluwer Opleidingen, enterpreneur networks VOKA and VKW, the Innovatie centrum and Business Schools.
