Geoff Waring

Geoff Waring manages Stoic venture capital's investments and serves on the Uniseed Investment Committee.

Geoff previously invested as an angel in CleanSpace Technology and Whiteford Plastics, co-founded medical device company Repartech, sourced external venture capital for Atomo Diagnostics and SmartWard and taught short courses in private equity and entrepreneurship. Prior to working in early stage financing, Geoff held academic positions at the Australian Graduate School of Management at University of New South Wales, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Emory University and University of California-Los Angeles. Previous corporate clients include McKinsey & Company (New York), AVCAL, Westpac, National Australia Bank, NICTA, Essilor (France), Edgars (South Africa) and Bain Capital (UK), and Boston Consulting Group’s Chicago office. His PhD is from the University of California-Los Angeles.
