Presentation
Ghita’s research focuses on interorganizational innovation collaborations and the dynamic interplay between disparate partners collaborating on joint projects. In particular, Ghita is passionate about understanding the interdependencies and relationships between different roles and competing demands within cross-boundary collaborations and how boundaries between different logics are put at stake by ways of managing. Building on Niklas Luhmann’s system theoretical notion of paradox, Ghita strives to develop new frameworks for the study of conflict management exploring how some conflicts can hold the key to innovation.
Empirically, Ghita has focused on management practices occurring in and across the public, private and voluntary sector, such as innovation collaborations between professionals and volunteers in online user communities, crowdsourcing, and public-voluntary partnerships.
Prior to joining MPP, Ghita has been a Postdoc at the University of Cambridge, Centre for Technology Management, and at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Department of Management Engineering, where she also received her PhD degree. Ghita also has experience as consultant within academic, commercial, and public environments designing and using game-based training to support organizations in innovation management. She holds a BA in Philosophy from Roskilde University (RUC) and a MSocSc in Political Communication & Management from Copenhagen Business School (CBS).
